Costello Throws No-Hitter as North Olmsted Varsity Eagles Defeats Rocky River

Dominic Costello was brilliant on the pitcher’s mound on Wednesday, as Costello threw a no-hitter to lead North Olmsted Varsity Eagles past Rocky River 6-1.

 

An early lead helped propel North Olmsted Varsity Eagles to victory.  North Olmsted Varsity Eagles took the lead on an error in the first inning.

 

Costello was credited with the victory for North Olmsted Varsity Eagles. Costello lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out five.

 

White took the loss for Rocky River. White went five innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out six.

 

Darren Krider, Alex DeJesus, Costello, and Tyler Gilley each collected one hit to lead North Olmsted Varsity Eagles.
