The Firelands Falcons hosted the undefeated Columbia Raiders. In the first minutes, the Falcons earned a first down at the 45-yard line. Shortly after, James Berry had a 20-yard carry. The first touchdown of the night was scored by Joshua Kovach. The Falcons completed the extra point as well, making the score 7-0.

Gavin Tollett caught a 15-yard pass to make their way to a possible touchdown. The Raiders tried hard to tie the game being 1-yard away from the endzone. The Falcons held the line back for a fourth down, which gave an advantage to the Falcons starting the second quarter.

Within the first six minutes, the Columbia Raiders retrieved the ball and sent a perfect pass for a touchdown. Jack Washburn tied the game after he kicked a successful extra point. Kevin Williams III ran roughly 70 yards into the endzone for a Falcon touchdown. Unfortunately, a penalty occured which was made caused it to be taken back. The first half ended with a tied score of 7-7.

The second half started with Marco Cirigliano rushing the ball 30 yards. Quarterback Ethan Meier pushed the ball 5 yards and then passed to Cirigliano for another touchdown. The third quarter ended with a score of 14-7 Raiders.

Luckily, Cirigliano carried the ball for another Raiders touchdown. Washburn did not disappoint by kicking another perfect extra point. Aunspaw launched the ball to Logan Urban but the pass was incomplete. The fans were getting rowdy in hopes of another touchdown with two minutes left in the game.

The Falcons had another turnover which led the final score to be 21-7 Columbia Raiders. We congratulate them on their win while wishing Fireland the best of luck as they host Blackriver next Friday.
