Columbia Raiders Remain Unbeaten With 42-7 Victory Over Warren JFK Eagles

The Columbia Raiders continued their dominant 2026 season with a 42-7 win over the Warren JFK Eagles. The Raiders improve to 7-0 behind another incredible performance on the ground, rushing for 307 yards on the night.

The Raiders were putting together a strong opening drive, however an unnecessary roughness penalty backed them up. They faced fourth down and goal from the 26-yard line. Logan Menge then somehow found Ambrose Beach for a miraculous touchdown to put the Raiders up 7-0.

Late in the first quarter, the Eagles tried some trickery with a WR pass and were intercepted by Anthony Pizzuli. That set up the Raiders’ second touchdown, a 3-yard run by Xavier Hendon. Hendon got loose for an 85-yard run on the next Columbia possession, but was chased down at the 1-yard line. Ambrose Beach punched it in to make it 21-0.

Warren JFK fumbled the ensuing kickoff and Beach scooped it up to get Columbia the ball back. Beach’s incredible versatility was on display all night with big plays on offense, defense, and special teams. The Raiders extended their lead on a 12-yard touchdown run by Logan Rose. The Raiders took a 28-0 lead into halftime.

In the third quarter, Hendon once again broke free for a long run and was caught just short of the end zone. This time it was a 74-yarder. Logan Menge then connected with Beach for a 1-yard score. Hendon continued his outstanding season for the Raiders, ending the night with 269 rushing yards on 19 carries.

Christian Dixie finally got the Eagles on the board with a 6-yard run early in the fourth quarter. That cut the deficit to 35-7. The Raiders added one more score when Beach caught his third touchdown of the night from Menge. The 16-yard score made it 42-7 Raiders. Beach finished the night with 4 total touchdowns.

The Raiders (7-0) will look to remain unbeaten next week against the Keystone Wildcats. Meanwhile the Eagles (4-3) are going to take on the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders looking for a bounce back victory.
