The Browns secondary could use another corner, especially with the injury history in the current group. Holmes is one of my favorite DBs in this draft. He is only 5’10” and 192 pounds but is a talented wrap up tackler. He can play on the outside but he is best suited as a nickel corner. He has all the physical gifts but just needs to get more aggressive. If the Browns could light a fire under him, this is a fourth round steal.

116. Jacksonville (6-10) – Eno Benjamin  RB  Arizona State

117. Tampa Bay (7-9) – Jalen Hurts  QB  Oklahoma

118. Denver (7-9) – Quintez Cephus  WR  Wisconsin

  1. Do you see a scenario where Dave Gettleman’s old habits get the best of him, and the Giants go for Becton at 4 instead of Wirfs?

    1. Perhaps. Becton is a true left tackle but has great potential. RT seems to be more of a need and I can’t see Becton moving over. Veteran Nate Solder wouldn’t move either. Wills of Alabama would be a smarter option if they don’t go with Wirfs. Probably would be foolish to take Becton.

  2. Finally a NFL Mock Draft from a credible beat reporter who knows his stuff and wasn’t lazy about it. This website has really jumped on my radar the last 6 months since last season began. I loved this draft, and I truly hope several things play out that way as well. We shall see but my cap and respect both go to this young man. I will be sharing this article with everyone I know who would also enjoy it! JOB WELL DONE!
