73. Jacksonville (6-10) – Robert Hunt OG Louisiana
74. Cleveland (6-10) – Malik Harrison LB Ohio State (pictured above)
Mack Wilson is the main man for the Browns at linebacker. Sione Takitaki and B.J. Goodson will also see plenty of time. The team still needs more linebackers though and keeping Harrison in the state of Ohio would be a wise decision. Harrison greatly improved during his senior year at Ohio State and looked like the real deal. He has quick reactions when gaps open up and delivers massive blows to any running back trying to head his direction. He is a fantastic tackler. He does need to improve on his coverage abilities and keep from biting on trick plays. Those could easily be fixed. He could make an immediate impact for the Browns.

96. Kansas City* (12-4) – Matt Hennessy C Temple
97. Cleveland – from Houston (compensatory) – K.J. Hill WR Ohio State
Round three could be the Browns selecting several Buckeyes. It is always nice to add more weapons around Baker Mayfield and K.J. Hill is a deadly weapon. The all-time leader in catches at Ohio State is a silky smooth route runner and always seems to find a way to get open. Hill has the potential to become an elite slot WR in the league. Hill is always a great checkdown option.
98. New England (compensatory) – Bryan Edwards WR South Carolina
99. New York Giants (compensatory) – Donovan Peoples-Jones WR Michigan
100. New England (compensatory) – Harrison Bryant TE Florida Atlantic
101. Seattle (compensatory) – Jack Driscoll OT Auburn

105. Minnesota (compensatory) – Logan Stenberg OG Kentucky
Do you see a scenario where Dave Gettleman’s old habits get the best of him, and the Giants go for Becton at 4 instead of Wirfs?
Perhaps. Becton is a true left tackle but has great potential. RT seems to be more of a need and I can’t see Becton moving over. Veteran Nate Solder wouldn’t move either. Wills of Alabama would be a smarter option if they don’t go with Wirfs. Probably would be foolish to take Becton.
Finally a NFL Mock Draft from a credible beat reporter who knows his stuff and wasn’t lazy about it. This website has really jumped on my radar the last 6 months since last season began. I loved this draft, and I truly hope several things play out that way as well. We shall see but my cap and respect both go to this young man. I will be sharing this article with everyone I know who would also enjoy it! JOB WELL DONE!
