MISS – I wasn’t even close on this one. However, it does look as though her Mom won’t make it through Season Five alive. I do get a strange feeling that Tory may actually move in with Roby and Johnny when the latter gets back from Mexico City. Either that, or her “other” aunt showed up and she lives with her. Did I mention that the other aunt is Hilary Swank? Hey, it could happen……
Why Hilary Swank you ask? Go watch the movie, “The Next Karate Kid” that came out in 1994 and it will make sense.
Cobra Kai is about to get a prison presence.
HIT – I’m counting this as a hit. My guess was that Shawn would leave Juvi and join Cobra Kai. It ended up being his little brother, but I’m still counting this one in my favor. Also, it’s no accident they made it known that Shawn gets out this summer, expect him in Season 5 in a major role.
Terry Silver is coming back to try and break up Johnny & Daniel with his money.
HIT – Okay, so this one was a layup. Let me take my free two points and move on as Ray Charles saw this one coming!
Mike Barnes will also return to help Silver
HIT – I’m counting this as a hit considering the final words to come out of Silvers mouth in the finale about bringing back an old friend to help him while Kreese is gone. Clearly, he was talking about Barnes who I’m sure is still a total nutjob.
Miguel’s mom will be written off the show
MISS – Still not sure what I was thinking with that swing and miss! But can we get more lines for Ya Ya? She is great!
Robby’s mom will have a larger presence on the show
MISS – She had one appearance and didn’t even bother showing up at the tournament to root on her son. Or at least I didn’t see her there.
Hawk will win the All Valley
HIT – It was time that Hawk shined! I love the fact that Robbie is now a two time loser, it only sweetens the pot and gives him more motivation to turn away from Cobra Kai. Plus, Hawk is the ultimate underdog, and you knew Demitri wasn’t going to win.
Samantha LaRusso will win the first female All Valley.
HIT / MISS – Okay, so I’m counting on both hands for this one. I predicted that there would be a first ever All Valley for girls. I mean c’mon, it’s 2022 for God sake, it was time!
Jessica will not return.
HIT – I predicted that only Silver and Barnes would come back from the past as I didn’t see any more relics re-appearing. Especially not any love interests. Although, I wouldn’t be opposed to Kumiko coming back one more time.
What is it about Daniel LaRusso that he gets stunning woman? His wife, his high school girlfriend, his overseas crush, all drop dead beautiful.
This will be the final season of the show.
