Cleveland Heights Defeat Shaker Heights

At 4:25 into the first quarter, Shaker Heights quarterback Adam Diaz ran a quarterback keeper for a touchdown putting the score at 7 to 0. Seven points was the only score between both teams in the first quarter.

The second quarter was basically a defense quarter. Only score was by Cleveland Heights wide receiver Jerimiah Dillard. Making the score 7 to 7 going to halftime.

Shaker Heights got the first possession in the third quarter. They drove the ball down the field to set up a quarter keeper for a touchdown. That was Shaker Heights Adam Diaz second
touchdown of the game, Giving his team a 14 to 7 lead going to the fourth quarter.

Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights had an epic fourth quarter. Cleveland Heights scored first with a big run by quarterback Elijah Fowlkes. The extra point try was no good making the score 14 to 13.

After Shaker Heights started to drive down the field, Adam Diaz threw an interception to Cleveland Heights defensive back Jumel Lewis for a touchdown. Cleveland Heights went for a two point conversion and was successful putting them at 21 to 14.

Not to be out done, Shaker Heights quarterback Adam Diaz threw a big time touchdown pass that went for 40 yards. With 4:15 left in the fourth quarter the score is tie 21 to 21.

Shaker Height kicked the ball off and Cleveland Heights Anthony Brooks ran back for a touchdown to put his team back up 28 to 21. Shaker Heights tried to score but time ran out on
them.
