Daniels was a fourth-round draft pick in 2012 and spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Packers. After recording 49 total tackles, five sacks and 14 quarterback hits in 2017, Daniels was selected to his first and only Pro Bowl of his career.
The Browns have been aggressive this offseason, especially on the defensive side of the ball with their recent push to get former Bucs defensive end Gerald McCoy to Cleveland. before he ultimately chose to go to Carolina.
The Browns are the first team Daniels is meeting with since being released from the Packers and other teams like the Chiefs and Patriots seem interested in the former University of Iowa product.
This past season, the 30-year-old appeared in 10 games before a foot injury that ended his season in December. Daniels has missed just 10 games during his seven-year career and he will provide the Browns with even more star-power on the defensive line if he comes to Cleveland.
