2. The defense must carry over the last week’s performance to week four against an explosive Baltimore Ravens offense
For the second consecutive week, the Browns may be without Greedy Williams and Denzel Ward on the defensive side of the ball. This means the defense that allowed Todd Gurley to rush for just 43 yards a week ago must continue to show its strength on the line and throughout the secondary.
Lamar Jackson is a rising, elusive quarterback that can hurt you through the air and on the ground as well. Making sure the defense gets him uncomfortable in the pocket early on will sit well with trying to contain him as a playmaker. The defensive line overall has looked sharp to open the regular season, besides the costly penalties– mostly undisciplined and self-inflicted as well. They must send a message early on as divisional play begins for the Browns.
