Bay Village Running Back Nick Buttari Wins Player of the Week 8 2019

Bay Village Running Back Nick Buttari is this week’s Jenny’s Old-Fashioned Popcorn Player of the Week. His 206-yard, two touchdown performance this past Friday night helped vault the Bay Village Rockets past the Rocky River Pirates once again 34-17.

Nick’s second touchdown of the game in the late moments of the fourth quarter sealed the deal on the big win for the Rockets. They are now 6-2 and coach Rutt’s bunch is staring yet another playoff spot right in the face.

Good luck to Nick, his teammates and the city of Bay Village as they continue to march towards the playoffs.

Nick was the subject of our Player Spotlight Series Monday night.  You can listen to the interview by clicking here https://keeonsports.podbean.com/e/player-spotlight-bay-village-rb-nick-buttari/

    1. It’s gotta be Nick Buttari. He plays offense, defense, kickoff, and kickoff return, and still runs for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns in a close game against a rival. There is no competition.
