Last season’s sexy pick turned into a complete meltdown. The defense was supposed to shut everyone down, the problem was that their offense was the actual side of the ball getting shutdown each and every week. They have finally moved on from the failed Blake Bortals experiment and have placed their hopes on journeyman QB Nick Foles.
Foles has been incredible in the playoffs the last two seasons with the Eagles, including late season runs to the playoffs. However, he has never shown he can do it over 16 straight games. Quite frankly, I don’t see that starting this year either.
