AFC Preseason Power Rankings

(4) LA Chargers

Is this the season that Phillip Rivers arm falls off and he finally looks old?  Or is this the season the Chargers finally make that long awaited leap to playing in the Superbowl?  So many variables going into this one with the biggest being the status of Melvin Gordon.

The Chargers were excellent last year and finished tied for the best record in the AFC.  The problem being they lost the tie breaker to the Chiefs and got routed in week two of the playoffs at New England.  Was that a sign of things to come?  Just how good are the Chargers?

They remind me of the Colts this season in that they will either be really good, or really bad.  Time will tell!

  1. Let’s hope your predictions are wrong the Browns play as well as they look on paper this year. GO BROWNS!
