Reaction – Sometimes matches lives up to the hype, this was easily one of those times! What an amazing match and yet again, a smart move to keep the strap on their big-name free agent Okada. We just hope PAC can stay healthy because he is a true talent!
House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews) defeated TNT Champion Adam Copeland, NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston & ROH Champion Mark Briscoe
Reaction – When you have champions in any kind of match that their titles are not up for grabs, they cannot win. This was brilliant booking once again as now, just like that, you have 3 ready made feuds ready to go if you want them. Old school logic, the champions must lose non title matches, and they did!
Adam “Edge” Copeland still looks great, it will be interesting to see if they indeed move him into a feud with Black long term, or if Christian is lurking around the corner?
Willow Nightingale defeated Julia Hart to win the TBS Title
Reaction – I’m pretty sure Hart is legit hurt, or this match would have been longer. I wasn’t impressed with it, and simply do not see the hype with Nightingale. Not much longer until Statlander turns on her too. For now, at least, it is full steam ahead to Double or Nothing versus Mercedes Mone.
