War on the Shore Returns July 11 to LaSalle Theater

War on the Shore Returns July 11 to LaSalle Theater with Stacked Amateur and Professional Card CLEVELAND, OH – War on the Shore returns to the LaSalle Theater on July 11 for its 26th show, as promoter Allegra Gedeon brings another exciting night of amateur and professional boxing to the City of Cleveland.

For years, War on the Shore has provided a platform for rising amateur talent and local professional fighters to showcase their skills in front of passionate Northeast Ohio boxing fans, and the July 11 card may be one of the promotion’s most competitive yet. The amateur portion of the event features 11 action-packed matchups. In one championship bout, 165-pound Open Champion Sam Stefan will defend his title, while 154-pound Novice Champion Davion Porter puts his novice championship on the line in the amateur main event. Another featured amateur contest takes place in the 132-pound Open Division as Novice Golden Gloves Champion Larry Dulaney-Jackson faces talented 18-year-old Julian Dolan in what many expect to be one of the night’s most technical and competitive bouts.

The professional card opens with Cleveland’s own Rockill Brown making his professional debut against Sayyid Campbell of Columbus. Lebanon’s Nadim Salloum brings his 14-3 record to Cleveland as he takes on the tough and durable Bryant McClain (6-8-3) of New Mexico. Fans will also see the return of Dib Kaddah after an eight-year layoff. “The Wolf” faces Ethen Curtis in a bout that could quickly become one of the evening’s most talked-about fights. Another featured professional matchup showcases Dylan Prpic (1-0, 1 KO), fresh off an impressive knockout victory in his professional debut this past April. Prpic will square off against the dangerous Virdez Evans in a classic Cleveland-versus-Youngstown battle where local pride will be on the line.

The evening’s main event features fan favorite Ben Meese (6-1, 4 KOs) taking on Kentucky veteran Joe Thompson. Thompson brings more than 80 rounds of professional experience into the ring and will look to hand Meese his second professional loss. Meanwhile, Meese enters the contest riding a six-fight winning streak and has quickly earned a reputation for his relentless pressure, high work rate, and seemingly endless gas tank. “This will be another incredible card,” said Allegra Gedeon. “We love putting these shows on for the city and helping young amateur fighters grow while also giving local professionals the opportunity to perform in front of their hometown fans.”

Gedeon said War on the Shore will continue its busy 2026 schedule with additional events planned later this year. War on the Shore remains a true family operation. While Allegra oversees the event and greets fans at the front door, her husband, Bryan Gedeon, owner of the Fight Factory of Cleveland, can be found behind the scenes wrapping hands, warming fighters up, and working corners throughout the night. Together, the family has helped build one of Northeast Ohio’s longest-running and most successful local boxing promotions.
