by Stop 8 of the 2026 McKee Family Summer Park Tour took us to Croghan Park in Fairlawn.
The park is located at the intersection of North Miller Road and Sand Run Parkway (address: 99 N Miller Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333).
What we liked: The scenery, the large playsets and the soft turf
What we didn’t like: The lack of shade for parents to sit, no indoor plumbing and quite a few foul mouthed parents not paying attention to their kids.

- Recreation: Three tennis courts, two basketball courts, and two handball courts.
- Playground: A recently updated, safe play structure designed for kids.
- Walking & Nature: A 0.36-mile paved walking path, open play areas, and tree-lined spaces.
- Facilities: Scattered picnic tables, grills, and portable toilets.
- Additional Perks: Park-wide Wi-Fi and security cameras.
The park operates daily from dawn to 10:00 PM and cannot be reserved, meaning all amenities are freely available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please enjoy the photo’s below of the park we took today on our visit. It was good, they just need a better bathroom situation and seats out of the sun, other then that, it was really nice!
