Miami, FL (Tuesday, May 26, 2026) – Concacaf has conducted the official draw for the 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup. The fourth edition of this regional tournament, which determines the Caribbean’s club champion and serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, will feature 10 clubs and take place from August to December 2026.
The made-for-TV draw event, live from Miami, FL, was hosted by Mariah Ramharack and featured appearances by Concacaf General Secretary Philippe Moggio, as well as former standout players Gilberto Eind of Suriname and Densill Theobald of Trinidad and Tobago.
During Tuesday’s official draw, the 10 participating Caribbean clubs were divided into two groups of five clubs each; the groups were divided as follows:
Group A: Violette AC (HAI), Defence Force FC (TRI), Club Sando FC (TRI), SV Broki (SUR), CFU Club Shield Runner-Up
Group B: Cibao FC (DOM), Cavalier FC (JAM), Portmore United FC (JAM), Salcedo FC (DOM), CFU Club Shield Champion
COMPETITION FORMAT
The tournament will begin with a Group Stage comprising two groups of five clubs each. Clubs will play each other team in their group once, for a total of four matches per club (two home and two away) across five scheduled weeks.
Following the conclusion of the Group Stage, the top two finishers in each group will advance to the Knockout Stage, which will consist of home-and-away series. The stage will begin with the Semifinals and conclude with the Third Place matches and Final, where the Caribbean’s champion will be crowned.
Semifinal pairings will be determined based on the group stage standings, with the winner of Group A facing the runner-up of Group B (1A vs. 2B), and the winner of Group B facing the runner-up of Group A (1B vs. 2A). The group winners will host the second leg Semifinals.
In both the Third-Place match and Final, the clubs with the most points accumulated in the competition will host the decisive second legs.
