by Stop 7 of the 2026 McKee Family Summer Park Tour took us to Bleser Park located at 32800 Electric Blvd in Avon Lake. Truth be told my family enjoyed this park a few summers ago because of the beautiful landscape, volleyball courts, swimming pool and baseball fields. We even packed a lunch and had a nice picnic. The giant letdown was the fact that there was no playground for our children, so this was well worth the wait today as the new playground was excellent!
Avon Lake is a beautiful city filled with great citizens who deserved this park to be upgraded with a great playground and now it has been. This playground blew us away and kept the kiddos busy for hours.

Access to the park
Only seconds away from Lake Road as well as Avon Belden, easy to get too with a ton of parking as well.
Things to do
4 giant new playsets complete with all the bells and whistles that make an amazing playground. You can climb on anything you want and slide down adult size slides. Truly, the pictures on page two will tell the full story, but I would strongly recommend bringing the whole family as there is no shortage of things to do.
Places for parents to sit
Several in the shade and in the sun. Also, the spots are positioned perfectly so you can sit and still see your child no matter what playset they are on.
Ground
Some mulch, some soft rubber. Readers of this column know how much I despise the gross mulch.
Cleanliness
Very clean with little to no bird poop or rust. Again, great playground!
Bathroom
Indoor plumbing along with a spot to change if you’re checking out the pool while you are there.
Best part of the park
A classic park just got an amazing facelift with the playground becoming one of the best on the west side. Beautiful Park!
Would I recommend?
Yes, 100x yes! Great job Avon Lake.
