The NFL Draft is right around the corner, and thanks to a trade out from a potential Travis Hunter selection the Cleveland Browns find themselves with two first round picks in 2026. It’s no secret that the Browns’ roster is filled with holes, most notably at offensive line and wide receiver, but a new regime and messy quarterback room could leave the door open for a potential Ty Simpson selection as well.
Plenty can still change before draft night, but let’s take a look at a potential three round mock scenario and how the board could shake out for Cleveland.
Round 1
1. Las Vegas Raiders – Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
2. New York Jets – David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
3. Arizona Cardinals – Arvell Reese, EDGE, Ohio State
4. Tennessee Titans – Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
5. New York Giants – Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
6. Cleveland Browns – Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia
Freeling’s stock skyrocketed after the combine, and no team has had more connections to the 6’7, 215lb junior than the Cleveland Browns. In a class filled with tackle prospects that may eventually have to shift over to guard, Freeling is a true tackle with prototypical size and length for the position. The pick would not come without risk though, as Freeling’s technique is still raw and he’ll need to put on some weight before he’s ready to consistently take on NFL edge rushers. This pick would be considered a reach by most considering the other talent on the board, but the Browns seem likely to take their guy early and not risk another team grabbing him before their second pick at 24.
7. Washington Commanders – Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
8. New Orleans Saints – Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
9. Kansas City Chiefs – Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami (FL)
10. Cincinnati Bengals – Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
11. Miami Dolphins – Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami (FL)
12. Dallas Cowboys – Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
13. Los Angeles Rams – Makai Lemon, WR, USC
14. Baltimore Ravens – Olaivavega Ioane, OG, Penn State
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
16. New York Jets – Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
17. Detroit Lions – Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama
18. Minnesota Vikings – Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon
19. Carolina Panthers – Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
20. Dallas Cowboys – Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami (FL)
21. Pittsburgh Steelers – Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State
22. Los Angeles Chargers – Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio State
23. Philadelphia Eagles – Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana
24. Cleveland Browns – Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
The Browns’ current WR1 is Jerry Jeudy, and things don’t improve much from there. While Jeudy has shown flashes, specifically when Jameis Winston was the quarterback, his 2025 campaign made it obvious that Cleveland still needs a true top receiving threat. Boston has the prototypical build of an X receiver, he’s 6’4 with an incredible catch radius to match. His hands are reliable, and has the mentality to always try to rack up yards after the catch. Boston’s limitations start to become more apparent when he’s up against zone defenses, as he struggles to find and settle into open areas on the field when he’s not taking on a corner one-on-one. A bit of a tough break as Omar Cooper Jr. went just one pick earlier in this scenario, but Boston still has the ability to become a true WR1 in the NFL.
25. Chicago Bears – Caleb Banks, DT, Florida
26. Buffalo Bills – CJ Allen, LB, Georgia
27. San Francisco 49ers – Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah
28. Houston Texans – Peter Woods, DT, Clemson
29. Kansas City Chiefs – Blake Miller, OT, Clemson
30. Miami Dolphins – KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
31. New England Patriots – Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn
32. Seattle Seahawks – Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame
Round 2
33. New York Jets – T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson
34. Arizona Cardinals – Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama
35. Tennessee Titans – Cashius Howell, EDGE, Texas A&M
36. Las Vegas Raiders – Emmanuel Pregnon, OG, Oregon
37. New York Giants – Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, S, Toledo
38. Houston Texans – Chase Bisontis, OG, Texas A&M
39. Cleveland Browns – Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson
Maybe this is a different conversation is Ty Simpson was still on the board, but Terrell would just be too good of a player to pass up on if he’s still available at 39. Terrell was one of the few bright spots on a disappointing defense for Clemson in 2025, as he allowed just 29 catches and three touchdowns the entire season. He’s a versatile corner that it comfortable playing both outside and in the slot, which could prove crucial moving forward as Martin Emerson’s exit looms. Denzel Ward has also struggled to stay on the field at points, so adding Terrell would provide a safety valve for the Browns’ defensive backfield. His lighter frame will lead to him struggling against bigger bodied wide receivers, but Terrell’s well refined technique could keep him around the league for a long time.
40. Kansas City Chiefs – Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee
41. Cincinnati Bengals – Christen Miller, DT, Georgia
42. New Orleans Saints – Gennings Dunker, OG, Iowa
43. Miami Dolphins – Zion Young, EDGE, Missouri
44. New York Jets – Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech
45. Baltimore Ravens – Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech
46. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Gabe Jacas, EDGE, Illinois
47. Indianapolis Colts – R. Mason Thomas, EDGE, Oklahoma
48. Atlanta Falcons – Chris Bell, WR, Louisville
49. Minnesota Vikings – Connor Lew, OC, Auburn
50. Detroit Lions – Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, UCF
51. Carolina Panthers – Chris Brazzell II, WR, Tennessee
52. Green Bay Packers – Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina
53. Pittsburgh Steelers – A.J. Haulcy, S, LSU
54. Philadelphia Eagles – Caleb Tiernan, OT, Northwestern
55. Los Angeles Chargers – Keylan Rutledge, OG, Georgia Tech
56. Jacksonville Jaguars – Jake Golday, LB, Cincinnati
57. Chicago Bears – Romello Height, EDGE, Texas Tech
58. San Francisco 49ers – Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama
59. Houston Texans – Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri
60. Chicago Bears – Sam Hecht, OC, Kansas State
61. Los Angeles Rams – D’Angelo Ponds, CB, Indiana
62. Denver Broncos – Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt
63. New England Patriots – Kamari Ramsey, S, USC
64. Seattle Seahawks – Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State
Round 3
65. Arizona Cardinals – Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington
66. Tennessee Titans – Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
67. Las Vegas Raiders – Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia
68. Philadelphia Eagles – Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State
69. Houston Texans – Kaytron Allen, RB, Penn State
70. Cleveland Browns – Derrick Moore, EDGE, Michigan
Michigan may have had a down year in 2025, but they still continue to crank our NFL caliber defensive linemen. The former teammate of rookie standout Mason Graham earned significantly more playing time last season by expanding his pass rush repertoire, adding some finesse to an already impressive power profile at the position. Moore is not going to provide much help in the run game, but his unique ability to rush the passer and comfortably drop back in coverage could make him a dangerous situational chess piece along side Graham and Myles Garrett.
71. Washington Commanders – Skyler Bell, WR, UConn
72. Cincinnati Bengals – Anthony Hill Jr., LB, Texas
73. New Orleans Saints – Joshua Josephs, EDGE, Tennessee
74. Kansas City Chiefs – Markel Bell, OT, Miami (FL)
75. Miami Dolphins – Keith Abney II, CB, Arizona State
76. Pittsburgh Steelers – Jalen Farmer, OG, Kentucky
77. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Keionte Scott, CB, Miami (FL)
78. Indianapolis Colts – Ted Hurst, WR, Georgia State
79. Atlanta Falcons – Treydan Stukes, CB, Arizona
80. Baltimore Ravens – Logan Jones, OC, Iowa
81. Jacksonville Jaguars – Domonique Orange, DT, Iowa State
82. Minnesota Vikings – Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State
83. Carolina Panthers – Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor
84. Green Bay Packers – Darrell Jackson Jr., DT, Florida State
85. Pittsburgh Steelers – Bryce Lance, WR, North Dakota State
86. Los Angeles Chargers – Genesis Smith, S, Arizona
87. Miami Dolphins – Drew Allar, QB, Penn State
88. Jacksonville Jaguars – Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson
