by Tonight, on WWE Smackdown is the big reveal of who Randy Orton has been on the phone with these last several weeks, encouraging his latest heel run against Cody Rhodes. One would have to also believe that whomever it is will also be in his corner at WWE WrestleMania coming up later this month.
Here are just a few options along with the chances of it could actually happen.
Vince McMahon
Reason – He mentioned there is more then one royal family which is the catchline in Cody Rhodes entrance song. This was initially intended as an attack on the McMahon family years ago when Rhodes helped found AEW. It would be a nice touch of irony if it truly is Vince McMahon.
Chances – Slim
Ric Flair
Reason – His original mentor in the business with Evolution. Flair has nothing else to do and while this wouldn’t be a giant hit, it would make sense given that Flair’s greatest feud came against Dusty Rhodes.

Matt Riddle
Reason – His old tag partner who hasn’t been seen since Roman Reigns squashed him and sent him packing years ago. Riddle never signed with AEW or TNA and would be available on calls notice. He has no history with Rhodes however and I’m not sure if this would make too much sense.
Chances – Medium
Arn Anderson
Reason – He was Cody’s cornerman for his entire AEW run and has a long history with feuding against the Rhodes family prior to that. This would make the most sense and the one I actually see happening.
Chances – Strong
Cowboy Bob Orton
Reason – This is the odds on favor and for good reason. The show is in his hometown and they showed Randy talking in front of his Dad’s picture earlier this week. As much as fans want it to be The Rock, the smart money is on the Cowboy.
Chances – Extremely strong
The Rock
Reason – He has unresolved beef with Cody for two years and has the family lineage in the business. In fact, he has claimed in the past that his heritage is the true royal family of WWF history. Perhaps we finally get that payoff?
