LD Alajuelense retains top Central American Club Ranking spot ahead of 2026 CCC debut
Reigning Concacaf Central American Cup champion LD Alajuelense (1,164) maintained its place as the top Central American club. The club will begin its participation in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup in the Round of 16 as a result of its Central American Cup title.CD Olimpia (1,145) remained in second place in Central America, followed by Deportivo Saprissa (1,145) who climbed up one position into third. CS Herediano (1,140) dropped one place to fourth, while CSD Municipal (1,135) remains fifth to complete the top five.
Violette takes the lead as best team in the Caribbean
Violette AC (1,083) is the new leader in the Caribbean, with 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup winners Mount Pleasant FA (1,080) falling to second place.
Cibao FC (1,058) jumps seven positions in the overall ranking and retains its spot as third-highest ranked club in the Caribbean. Defence Force FC (1,057) fell two places down to fourth, and SV Robinhood (1,043) dropped one position to fifth.
San Diego FC delivers biggest upset in Round One, among biggest movers
San Diego FC (1,193) was the second-biggest mover of the month, moving up eight places to 18th overall after making its Concacaf Champions Cup debut with a 4-2 win on aggregate over Liga MX’s Pumas UNAM.
Panamanian club Unión Coclé FC (1,054) was the most improved side over the past month, climbing 10 places to 88th.
