Duke Barther and the Berea-Midpark boys basketball team will open their seventh season against Wellington at the 20th Annual DiFranco Memorial Basketball Tournament at Midview High School on Wednesday November 27th.
Midview is excited to continue the one-day format, which will feature one varsity girls game and five varsity boys games. Admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. A ticket grants you access to all 5 games.
Wellington and Berea-Midpark will make their DiFranco debuts and open play at 12 p.m. Lorain will then battle John Adams at 1:30 p.m. Firelands and Medina clash at 3 p.m.
Midview Varsity Girls Basketball, under the direction of first-year Coach Jessy Bendik, plays Keystone at 4:30 p.m.
Elyria and North Ridgeville renew their rivalry at 6 p.m. Jim Brabenec’s Midview squad closes out the night with a boy’s game against Keystone at 7:30 p.m.
