AEW Dynasty Hits A Homerun With Several Instant Classic Matches

This contest is brought to you by – https://keeonsports.com/sponsors/

AEW has been under a lot of heat as of late from fans in regards to bizarre moves from Tony Khan and for good reason.  But tonight, they did what they do best, have an incredible Pay Per View loaded with 5 Star matches! While not every fan is going to agree with every move, it is hard not to be impressed with the matches tonight, as Bryan Danielson and Will Ospreay put on perhaps the greatest match in AEW history.  Let’s break it all down.

ACTION FROM THE PRE-SHOW ZERO HOUR

Trent Beretta defeated Matt Sydal (w/Mike Sydal)

Reaction – Smart move here, you want Beretta’s singles run to start off strong in order to be taken seriously..  You can take one look at Chuck Taylor to realize he was the weak link of the team, now it is time to see what Beretta can do to make the most of this, and not end up with a lifetime of Rampage matches.

Orange Cassidy & Katsuyori Shibata defeated Shane Taylor & Lee Moriaty

Reaction – Orange Cassidy may be looking to begin a feud soon with Beretta so it is also smart that he looks strong with a clean win.  However, with Stalander long gone from the group, and now the Best Friends split, there is no guarantee that this is the next move for OC after all.  Perhaps he is better off getting away completely from it.

Switchblade Jay White & The Gunns (Austin & Colten) defeated The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & Daddy Ass to unify the AEW & ROH Trios Titles

Reaction – Extremely smart booking continues here.  Switchblade BADLY needed a win on a PPV in AEW.  He has been squashed nonstop since signing and this won was sorely needed.

As for this feud, it MUST END now.  This has been going on for well over a year, and we have all lost interest.  Let Acclaimed go after the tag belts, and Daddy Ass rest easy into retirement.  This feud with the “Ass Boys” is no longer funny or interesting.

  1. It should be Will Ospreay’s last match as well that botched power bomb was so bad. They say Ridge Holland is dangerous, well I’ve never seen him be that reckless. and then the guy had the nerve to say he is the best in the world GTFO
