12 months ago, Jared Kelley of North Olmsted had a fantastic performance against Fairview at Fairview. In his junior season effort against the Warriors, he had 7 catches for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns. 364 days later, at home, on Senior Night, Kelley saved his best for last as he made this year’s version of the “Fairview Game”, a night for the ages.
Kelley let rip as he went off and the Warriors had zero answers. Kelley rushed the ball 6 times for 128 yards, had 4 catches for 105 yards and a 73-yard punt return while scoring 5 touchdowns along the way. Did I mention he did all of this in only 2 quarters and 6 possessions?
Congrats to Kelley and the Eagles as they improved to 3-2 with their third straight victory. They will look to remain hot as they travel to Westlake for a pivotal tilt between two 3-2 GLC teams.
