Jackson spent the last four seasons at Toledo, putting his name on the radar the past two seasons specifically. As a junior, he averaged 19 points, four rebounds and five assists per game. This past season he put together 18 points, six rebounds and six assists per game, even recorded two triple-doubles en route to being named MAC Player of the Year.
In addition, Jackson helped lead the Rockets to a semifinal appearance in the 2021 MAC tournament, falling to Ohio University, the eventual conference champions.
The 6-foot-1 guard narrowed his list to four schools on April 3: Arkansas, Miami (FL), Georgetown and Arizona State. It’s now the third transfer thus far for coach Bobby Hurley after finishing the previous season with an 11-14 record.
