3 Culprits In The Browns 31-30 Loss to the New York Jets

Browns Defensive Coordinator Joe Woods

He was more concerned with getting Myles Garrett the franchise sack record, then making sure he had enough men in the right positions in the secondary.  It’s great if you want to blitz, but you’re not going to rattle a Super Bowl Champion quarterback in Joe Flacco.  He is going to sit back and pick you apart when you continue to send the house.

  1. It’s time to fix the issues. We are expecting our Browns to be contenders and not blow 2 touchdowns leader. Fix the personnel and your D -coordinator. No more of non-sence.

  2. whomever is the defensive backfield coach. I could accept both weeks massive touchdowns given up. if receivers make great catches with defenders draped all over them. But to give up these touchdowns without defenders even being in the picture is inexcusable.

    1. Woods needs to go, Stefanski looks clueless at times, last weeks hero York is still a rookie, Delpit looks lost on everyplay, Chibb & Hint are studs, this is a 6 win team at best with this defense.

  3. Look this is high school and college coaching. We have the ball first down 2 min. Jets out of timeouts. So TAKE a KNEE!!! This is clock management issue with coach. I jumped up and down when we got the first down knowing no timeouts I said we’re gonna kneel on the ball and we win! But that didn’t happen. So now everyone hates the hero kicker and the DC and the defense. Sigh. My way defense doesn’t take the field again. Sigh.
