Avon is coming off back-to-back Division II State Championships and their 10th straight Southwestern Conference title. Trevor Sykora takes over under center for a team that graduated many of its top statistical players from a year ago. The good news for Sykora and the Eagles is that Fin Jerdonek returns, a true big-play threat. Avon opens up the season with a matchup against St. Ignatius at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
