2025 Toledo Top 64 Men’s Recap

TOLEDO, Ohio – KEE On Sports was honored to make their first appearance covering the second day of the 2025 Toledo Top 64 live from Scott High School in Toledo, Ohio. The two-day event featured 64 of the top high school basketball talents from around Northwest and Central Ohio. Many coaches from all across the NCAA Division 2 and NAIA landscape attended the showcase on Sunday afternoon.

Below is a list of standout players from the Toledo Top 64 for each team:

Black Team:

JR Bates || PG || 6’0” || 2026 || OH || Pickerington North HS

Bates is an intriguing senior guard who displayed all the right qualities of a playmaking floor general. He utilized his speed and quick twitch to creatively evade defenders and create baskets at the rim. Bates is a smart point guard who finishes with ease through contact in transition. The senior guard wasn’t afraid of converting through contact.

CJ Johnson || CG || 6’3” || 2027 || OH || Maumee HS

Johnson displayed his aggressive attitude and outstanding athleticism from the opening tip. He played in a different gear than those on the floor. This was on display when he followed his missed shot and put it back up and in. He demonstrated he could stretch the floor by knocking down a rhythm three-point jumper as well. Johnson also had multiple times where he attacked downhill and looked to put his defender physically in the basket with his dunks. There is no doubt that this junior has a high ceiling due to his relentless play style.

Jack Goodnough || F || 6’8” || 2026 || St. John’s Jesuit HS

Goodnough catches your eye immediately on the floor with his impressive height and coordination. He liked to stretch the floor and shoot the three while also attacking the basket with force. Goodnough has strong anticipation skills, which he uses to stay with his defender on the perimeter and while also rotating to the basket side, making him an effective shot blocker. He was one of my favorite prospects as his offense was on full display throughout the showcase.

Light Blue Team:

Elynn Stearns || F || 6’7” || 2028 || Lima Senior HS

Stearns was making plays and having an impact all afternoon at Scott High School in the Toledo Top 64. He was hands down my favorite player to watch as he demonstrated that even as a sophomore, he had very few holes in his game. Stearns competes with a different motor as he plays continuously on both ends of the floor. He loves to rip from a triple threat and get downhill, initiating contact and finishing through the foul. Stearns’ defense really stood out, as he was able to stay planted defensively and was outstanding at contesting jump shots. The sophomore forward made many coaches turn their heads as he completely dominated the Toledo Top 64 on both offense and defense.

Jack Lindsay || PG || 6’1” || 2028 || St. John’s Jesuit HS

Lindsay also made a large impact for the Light Blue Team at the Toledo Top 64 showcase. The 6’1” point guard displayed nice balance and touch, making a fluid step-back jump shot while earning multiple trips to the free-throw line. He has a good ability to create off the dribble and possesses a quick and effective shooting form. Lindsay didn’t shy away from contact, attacking the basket on drives as well, converting with his unique athleticism midair.

Pink Team:

Tyeron Hines || G || 6’2” || 2027 || Whitmer HS

Hines was a capable shooter and looked for early leak outs in transition. Despite being 6’2”, he is a very strong and physical athlete, finishing through contact in transition. He impressed with his motor and relentless attitude during the afternoon and made the smart plays for his team.

Devin Silva || PG || 6’4” || 2026 || Otsego HS

Silva was a true floor general for the Dark Blue team during the Toledo Top 64. He controlled the pace of the offensive very well and understands how to get the ball to his teammates in rhythm and stride. When facing strong pressure, he didn’t back down; instead, he embraced it, showcasing his competitive nature by applying it right back to the opposition. Silva impressed when he followed his own miss, crashing the offensive glass for the score. There’s no question that this guard has a very high motor.

Ryan Plantz || F || 6’8” || 2026 || Genoa HS

Plantz stood out in many ways throughout the afternoon at the Toledo Top 64. At his size, he showed a great feel for the game and displayed his ability to score both inside and outside the paint. Plantz had a handful of polished finishes around the basket, displaying his elite footwork for a big man. He also has a strong midrange game and shot mechanics that don’t look rushed. One of his most impressive attributes is his ability to handle the ball for his size and stature.

Without a doubt, one of the players who made the most noise and turned heads during the Toledo Top 64 was Nate Miles. He has an elite basketball IQ, which enables him to know when he is open and when to be a threat.

Antwoine Mister || G || 6’2” || 2027 || Oregon Clay HS

Mister is a compact 6’2” guard who demonstrated that he can be a finishing threat despite his size. He is a very good athlete who can contort his body mid-air for difficult finishes. Mister also showed he is a smooth shooter, knocking down a handful of nice midrange jumpers. His athleticism was on full display when he got back in transition and made a putback slam dunk, bringing a ton of energy to the gym and his teammates. Mister’s energy was contagious as he attacked each possession on both ends of the floor with his high motor.

Grey Team:

Alan Horton || F || 6’9” || 2026 || St. Francis De Sales HS

Horton is a polished big man who utilizes his size and strength to finish with ease around the basket fluidly. Whether in the high post or low post, Horton can convert the basket with his strong positional size. He has strong hands and plays under control in the post. Horton was fluid and calm in the post when he received pressure, finding his teammates when they got open. Along with his positional size, Willow’s strong, wide frame made him difficult for opponents to match up with. He won matchups with his opponents by using his strength inside while also showcasing his advanced skill set, knocking down a three-pointer. Willow was able to impact the game in multiple facets, whether that is converting through traffic inside or extending the defense by hitting a three.
