2022 SWC Power Rankings

#5 North Ridgeville

Overall record 4-2

Conference 1-2

The true story of North Ridgeville’s season is coming up in the final four weeks. Are they as talented as the team that went 4-0 to start the season, or do they have the holes that the team that has lost to Avon and Olmsted Falls by a combined 88 points the last two weeks?  Head coach Bryan Morgan is someone I would bet on every time, he is confident and had great vision on how to guide this young team.

At 4-2, they are still very much in the playoff hunt, and with matchups against Elyria, Midview and Berea-Midpark remaining on the schedule, a 7-3 finish is not out of the question.  Freshman tailback Zack Barnhart is tough to bring down and already has over 500 yards on the ground this season.  Quarterback Brendan Watchorn has improved each week and his chemistry with Charlie Steinmetz has been fun to watch grow.

Despite the last two weeks, don’t sleep on this defense that shut down the high-flying North Olmsted Eagles in week one.  I’ll say it again, don’t count out the North Ridgeville Rangers.
