The Bachelorette kicked off last night and husbands everywhere were forced to watch. Let’s face it fellas, if you’re like me, you don’t bother learning their names until several episodes in. This always leads to some fun nicknames that carry you through the entire season when need be.
These nicknames follow the contestants the rest of the way and prove to be a catch all for husbands like myself. These will get you by in a pinch if need be later in the year when you’re trying to think back to night one. Enjoy!
Aaron
Nickname – Smiley Pie
Reason – This guy had the nerve to compliment his own smile seconds into the show. He also went on to create instant beef with Cody a little bit later on in the night.
Tre
Nickname – Chuck E Cheese
Reason – The guy brought an entire pickup truck of balls from Chuck E Cheese. I don’t how long he will last on the show, but it was a first impression no one is going to forget anytime soon.
Michael
Nickname – Watch Guy
Reason – He caught my attention right away with the multi generation watch joke that turned out to be from the airport gift shop. My kind of humor!
Gabriel
Nickname – Creepy Hugger Guy
Reason – I’m not sure one hug needed a 45 second explanation, 90 seconds after meeting someone. That was odd!
Andrew S
Nickname – Accent guy
Reason – This was another good one, his ability to sound like a British Australian hybrid was uncanny. I liked the wit and the quick thinking.
Connor C
Nickname – Little League
Reason – My entire career began on the fact that I wrote a book called, “HERO” based on being a little league baseball coach. So when he handed her a baseball glove right off the bat, I couldn’t help but root for him right away!
Cody
Nickname – Rubber Woman Guy
Reason – He brought a rubber woman with him to meet Katie. Do I really need to explain? The fact that he memorized her speech she gave to Matt James holding a vibrator was pretty classy as well. He does his research!
Connor
Nickname – Cat Guy
Reason – Not only did this guy dress up like a freaking cat, but then he gets a make out session with Katie on night one. I mean talk about rolling the dice big time, and coming up huge. I thought for sure he was toast and sat there stunned when they proceeded to swallow each other’s faces for what seemed like 5 minutes.
James
Nickname – Gift Box Guy
Reason – Talk about risks, this guy sacrificed a lot of time he could have spent with her and instead hid in a box. That is called having extreme confidence in your looks and the first impression you leave on the opposite sex. The risk paid off.
Jeff
Nickname – Trailer Guy
Reason – Speaking of risks, some of them do not pay off and this one failed miserably. Dirty boxer shorts, stale celery and just nothing to offer. Hit the road Jeff!
