10 Least Likely World Champions Of All Time

Ivan Koloff

In January of 1971, the WWWF booked Ivan Koloff to end the record long 2,803 day reign of Bruno Sammartino.  He was clearly a transitional champion as he would only hold the belt for 21 days before losing it to Pedro Morales.  As for Bruno, he would win it back in 1973 and hold it for another 1,237 days.

Stan Stasiak

He was the man who would take the belt off of Morales to give it back to Bruno after only holding it 9 days.  Basically, when you look at it, the WWWF had a babyface as champion for nearly 14 years between Bruno and Pedro.  They used Stasiak and Koloff during that stretch to carry the strap for less than 31 total days to move the belt between fan favorites when needed.
