Yellow Jackets Women’s Bowling Dominated in Ohio Conferences

The Yellow Jackets Women’s Bowling team takes on new records as they dominated in Ohio Conference 1 and 2 on Saturday October 5th and 19th placing sixth in both conferences.

 

Ohio Conference 1

 

Baldwin Wallace’s second year of bowling makes a fresh record setting up a powerful lineup with a pristine expectation for the future of the Yellow Jackets. The Yellow Jackets made new history as they finished sixth in the conference unlike last year when they finished seventeenth.

The Women’s bowling team has a total of 4,635 pins knocked down after University of Northwestern Ohio with 4,646 total pins fall. Julia Parso led the team, with a total score of 685 from the four games played and Rachel Foreback followed with a sum of 672 from the four games.

 

Baldwin Wallace University’s head coach, David Johnson, said he will have the team work on spare shooting in upcoming practices and help the players learn to adjust to certain lane changes.

Johnson went onto highlight senior Julia Parso, senior Rachel Foreback, senior Olivia Johnson, and first-year student Hailey Kinney as they were the key players of Ohio Conference 1.

 

Ohio Conference 2

 

This past weekend on Saturday October nineteenth, the Yellow Jackets took the lanes to place another high ranking. Baldwin Wallace Women’s Bowling team placed sixth in the second conference like in the first conference.

The team has a total of 5,064 pins fall in the second conference, similarly, following the University of Northwestern Ohio again.

Once more, the Yellow Jackets were led by senior Julia Parso who placed 12th, senior Rachel Foreback who tied with Olivia Johnson for 17th place, and senior Erin Yates as she was placed 20th in the conference.

Baldwin Wallace highlights Julia Parso, Rachel Foreback, Olivia Johnson, Erin Yates, and Alex Armbruster as they all improved to play significant roles in this conference.
