This match was incredible! The perfect opening match to a WrestleMania. Year in and year out this match is expected to set the tone for the night. Both of these women are at the top of their game and looked great tonight.
The match had plenty of suspense and the in ring chemistry was undeniable between the two. They could have easily cracked under the pressure and build up to this one, but they did anything but.
Not having a physical crowd did nothing to stop them from having a brilliant contest. Ripley looked strong in defeat and Charlotte is great star power to have on NXT moving forward.
In order to compete with AEW, names like Charlotte Flair will help and it was the right move to do this. The WWE women may have lost big to NXT at Survivor Series this past year, but they came out golden at WrestleMania. Grade = A+
