Go back and watch it again, it was Bray Wyatt defeating everything that wrestling past stood for. A signal that the good old days of wrestling are done.
I mean he showed vintage footage of Piper, Orton, Snuka, Hogan, Studd, Bundy etc. If you’re not smart enough to realize the symbolizing of all of that, then you shouldn’t be watching wrestling.
The entire ordeal was played out beautifully as the purpose of this feud was not to have a match, but rather conclude a story.
