WWE WRESTLEMANIA 36 PREDICTIONS

Otis vs Dolph Ziggler

Prediction – The groundwork seems to be laid in place for a Mandy Rose face turn to help Otis. Either that, or a Tucker heel turn. Either way, this one should be entertaining. I’m going to stick with my first instinct and go with Mandy Rose turning on Ziggler to assist Otis with the win.

The Kabuki Warriors vs Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

Prediction – This match actually looks really good on paper. Four tremendous workers and a decent story line behind it. The Warriors have done next to nothing with the belts thus far, therefore I think they put the straps on Bliss & Cross again. The feeling that Bliss would eventually turn on Cross seems to have passed months ago.

Sami Zayn vs Daniel Bryan for the IC Belt

Prediction – Daniel Bryan in a squash match that lasts under 2 minutes. If the WWE had any respect for the skill set of Zayn, this could be a five-star classic. Sadly, they do not, and this one appears to be a joke instead of what it could be.

Edge vs Randy Orton

Prediction – This was once a main event caliber match for the show of shows. Before COVID 19 I would have been okay having it as the main event match as it was the first chance, we would get to see Edge in a singles match in nearly 9 years.

Sadly, all of that has changed. I don’t see the WWE going with the feel good side to this angle and having the returning baby face win.  Instead, they have Orton take home the win with no live fan backlash. Setting up a rematch at Summerslam.

King Corbin vs Elias

Prediction – It has been a great year for Corbin despite the recent bad luck against Roman Reigns. Elias has zero notable wins on his record and won’t pick up his first here. This match will be forgotten quickly after the Corbin win.
