WWE Super Showdown Hot Takes

The Brock Lesnar MITB chase is becoming one of the best ever

At first many fans were upset with Lesnar winning the briefcase. I was not, as it gave a stale character a new twist and has been pure gold ever since. This has been great and we are less than a month into it.

Lesnar finding out he had a year to cash in was hilarious. Him refusing to cash in Monday kept the interest going, and now today with Heyman tripping and dropping the briefcase keeps the story going perfectly.

The WWE has a real chance to keep this going for months on end until they actually need him to cash in on Kofi Kingston or Seth Rollins.

I truly don’t think they know who and when he will cash in on. If Smackdown ratings continue to plummet heading into the FOX takeover, Lesnar may be exactly what they need to that brand over.

Or, and what I feel to be the more likely resolution, they wait until the eventual Seth Rollins injury and have Lesnar take the title off of him that way. I love Rollins, and don’t want to wish harm on the guy, but he is extremely injury prone.

Not rushing the cash in is smart, and the WWE finally appears to be using their head and patience with something.
