Night One
Jey Uso gets the pin and has his music played after the victory.
Many would have thought it would be the big dog Roman Reigns getting spotlighted in this tag match, but instead, it was the Jey Uso show. He got the biggest pop of the match and spent the most time in the ring. It is clear, Jey Uso is the night in, night out central focus of The Bloodline moving forward.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defeat Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Despite winning the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, Charlotte has had an awful 2025 and needed this moment badly. The same can be said for Alexa Bliss who has just kind of coasted doing pretty much nothing since her return this year as well. They finally both got a huge 2025 moment and proved that “odd couples” almost always work in the Tag Division. It is a friendship fans want to root for.
Sami Zayn defeats Karion Kross.
Perhaps of Kross resigned with WWE before this match, things would have been different. However, for the second straight PLE match between the two, it remains clear that the WWE has no faith in Kross, will let him leave for AEW and can see that his entire gimmick in a cool entrance and little to no in ring ability. It is time to part ways.
Tiffany Stratton pins Jade Cargill cleanly to retain the WWE Women’s Championship
It is crystal clear, the WWE creative team and TKO brass are enamored with Stratton and continue to push her to the moon. As for Cargill, she cannot sell, her in ring work has not improved to the level they need it at and squash matches on AEW Rampage didn’t show the entire story of Cargill. Or perhaps they did and that is the actual problem. Either way, Cargill is all looks and no in ring skill while Stratton continues to be the total package.
Logan Paul is really good!
Say what you want about the guy, but he delivers in ring and on the microphone every single time he is asked to do so. If you thought Jelly Roll stole the match, then you weren’t actually watching what occurred. Paul is the real deal. I cannot stand the guy or the gimmick, but bell to bell, he can deliver.
The night one Main Event stunk until Seth Rollins saved the finish
CM Punk and Gunther had zero in ring chemistry and the match was slow and plodding. Punk looked out of shape and Gunther had a very rare off night. Seth Rollins as he often does, saved the night by cashing in on the newly minted Punk. This also continues one of the best feuds Pro Wrestling has ever seen.
