WWE Stomping Grounds Preview & Predictions

Universal Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Baron Corbin

Michael: If Baron Corbin wins this title, I will throw my television. Also, Paul Heyman will be the referee.

Vince – Does Lesnar cash in? They haven’t said much about it as all focus has been on the special ref. I can see Rollins retaining here no matter who the ref is. Lesnar will pick up the chase closer to either Summerslam, or the Smackdown move to Fox.

Jerry – Rollins must retain here no matter who the referee is, right? Corbin has done nothing at all to even deserve a title match let alone be given a run with the title. If Corbin for some reason does win, it would not surprise me if Brock Lesnar shows up to cash in his MITB briefcase and becomes the new champ.

Ryan – Obviously, the big story going in is who will be the guest referee picked by Baron Corbin and it is going to be a big storyline throughout the match.

I think Seth wins this by driving Baron’s head through a chair with a stomp after Baron bringing the chair into the ring knowing his referee won’t disqualify him.

One reason to pick Seth here is that the chase between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins has been so good that I don’t see the WWE making a title change in this match.

Mike – Seth Rollins
