Okay, so Ray Charles could have seen this coming two miles away. I honestly thought they would have strung this out for a few more weeks. It is a nice first feud for Kofi to have until Daniel Bryan returns from injury and goes after “his belt”.
I would l would have loved to see Owens have an extended run as a face, but I think we all knew that the WWE prefers him as a heel. Kofi will not drop the strap to Owens, but I do expect them to have some excellent matches.
As for Daniel Bryan, how bad is the luck of Eric Rowan? Every time the guy gets a decent push or angle the last few years, someone gets hurt. The WWE is guarding Bryan’s injury closely, if it is something serious, expect him to retire. We certainly hope it is not.
