by The WWE Tag Team Division will receive a much needed jolt soon as news has leaked that The Motor City Machine Guns have signed with the company. Their contracts with TNA ran out in April, and they have been on a handshake agreement ever since.
The Motor City Machine Guns are perhaps the most popular, and certainly long lasting teams in TNA history. Even more so then teams such as Beer Money and LAX. The Motor City Machine Guns were 3 time TNA tag Champions and have also been 1 time ROH Champions as well.
Most recently, Alex Shelley was the TNA World Champion for an impressive 218 day stretch between 2023 and 2024. As for his partner Chris Sabin, he holds the TNA all time record for reign with their X Division title with a whopping 10 reigns, as well as one run with the World Championship.
The WWE tag division is severely lacking, and this should breath new life into a division that desperately needs it. They are expected to announce the multi year deal soon.
