Reason – The dream match never had a chance. The biggest problem facing this was the simple fact that Lesnar was focused on Reigns and we all knew Heyman was going to turn on Lesnar yet again. Heyman is not a face folks, you knew this going in.
It was hard to get invested in this match because the entire time you were just waiting for Roman to show up and ruin it. Once the referee went down it was only a matter of time before it played out exactly like we all thought it would.
This match would have been a dream main event for a WrestleMania is a stand alone storyline. No mouthpieces or second men, no other rivalries going on, none of that. This entire storyline simply didn’t do it the justice it should.
