by The 2025 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble is quickly approaching with a various amount of big names already announced to be in it. Some of the larger names include John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and Rey Mysterio just to name a few. With such a star studded lineup, there are more then a few scenario’s of who could win. Let’s take a look at a few long shots, but also, a few possibilities including the one we feel will happen.
Long Shot – Brock Lesnar or Goldberg win to challenge Gunther in the long rumored match for both to have with the champ.
A decent chance – Seth Rollins completes his heel turn by winning the Royal Rumble, last eliminating CM Punk in an act of ultimate revenge.
Our best bet to win – CM Punk cashes in the favor that Paul Heyman owes him and eliminates Roman Reigns to win. Thus, turning heel in the process and securing his spot to finally headline a WrestleMania, more then likely against Cody Rhodes.
Another strong possibility – Randy Orton is a late entrant and wins, setting up the protégé vs mentor match for the title at WrestleMania versus Cody Rhodes.
Yet, another strong possibility – Roman Reigns wins
The Scenario we are hoping for – CM Punk turns heel with the help of Paul Heyman and “the favor” by eliminating Roman Reigns with a chair shot assistance from Heyman. Punk still doesn’t win, but that occurs. This sets up Punk vs Reigns for Mania to headline night one. It also leaves the door wide open for Cena to win and challenge Rhodes at WrestleMania.
The Scenario we don’t want – Logan Paul costs Cena the Rumble, and they fight at WrestleMania. Punk wins and challenges Gunter. Goldberg or Brock Lesnar ANYTHING!
Bottom line, the only WrestleMania matches that make sense for Roman Reigns are CM Punk in a grudge match or Cody Rhodes in a trilogy.
