Here is what I believe will happen at this year’s WWE Royal Rumble to be held in Tampa Bay on January 27,2024.
United States Championship Match
Prediction – Logan Paul retains over Kevin Owens
Reason – If Paul loses, they want it on the biggest stage, and that is WrestleMania against a big name opponent. Not Kevin Owens.
WWE Women’s Royal Rumble Winner
Prediction – Bayley
Reason – It is clear that she is on her way to getting kicked out of Damage Control, the group she started. This is the ultimate Cinderella story as Bayley has never had a singles match at WrestleMania. Time and time again, she has been stuck in tags, or fourway matches. This needs to be her time to shine as a babyface on the grandest stage of all, and this would be the perfect time to do it with her last eliminating the returning Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks).
As far as what happens with Becky Lynch, I think she makes it to the final four, before Rhea Ripley comes down and eliminates her from the outside, further setting up their match for WrestleMania as well. Also expect Trinity Fatu (Naomi) to return at some point as well, also, Jade Cargill to make her debut.
WWE Men’s Royal Rumble Winner
Prediction – CM Punk
Reason – The WWE badly wants fans thinking they will not get their rematch of Rhodes vs Reigns II for the title, but I assure you, they will get it at WrestleMania and this entire Rock thing is just a giant smoke screen. It will happen in Perth Australia at Elimination if at all.
As for the rest of the Men’s Rumble, I would strongly expect these things as well.
Your Final four will be Jey Uso, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre
Brock Lesnar will eliminate Gunther in a surprise, further setting up that dream feud.
It will end with CM Punk last eliminating Cody Rhodes to win it and CM Punk will be the challenger of Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
Undisputed WWE Universal World Championship Match
Prediction – Romans Reigns will pin LA Knight to retain.
Reason – This way Randy Orton stays strong by not taking the pin, and they keep the Styles heel turn going by him not taking the pin either. I do not see this match going on last, but if for some reason it does, I’d expect a Reigns vs Rock faceoff to end the show.
