WWE MITB 2025 Preview & Predictions

WWE MITB 2025 is this Saturday Night, and as of now, only has 4 announced matches.  With that being the case, I would expect plenty of extra segments for in ring promo’s and possibly crazy returns to soak up time.  Also, it is a safe bet that each ladder match will last at least 45 minutes each when you factor in all the entrances.

Here are my predictions for traditionally one of the biggest shows of the year.  Oddly though, this is the earliest this PPV has ever been as it is typically reserved for late July.

Becky Lynch challenges Lyria Valkyria for the Women’s IC belt.

Prediction – Becky Lynch

Reason for pick – Right now the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is seen as a distant second behind the United States Belt over on Smackdown.  As good as Valkyria is, they need to get the belt on the biggest name possible, and it just makes sense that Lynch can give the belt that boost with a run.

Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes vs John Cena and Logan Paul

Prediction – Use and Rhodes will win

What you can expect to see – Cody Rhodes will pin John Cena for the win, thus getting his win back from WrestleMania and setting up a third match between the two later in the summer, in which Cody wins his belt back, possibly turning heel in the process to align with The Rock.  Crazy I know, but then you bring back Roman Reigns as the Ultimate babyface, and we’re off to the races from there.

Also, I would fully expect Gunther to attack Jey Uso post-match, softening him up for their clash on the upcoming Monday Night Raw.

Women’s Money in the Bank match

Predicted winner – Naomi

Why I’m not picking the other 5

Alexa Bliss has already won and they almost never let the same person win twice.

Rhea Ripley is already the most popular wrestler in the entire company, she doesn’t need to win this to establish herself. This tends to go to someone who needs the rub and get a push.  With a few exceptions over the years, ( Cena in 12 and Lesnar in 19) you almost never see one of the biggest names win this match.

Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia both had short but extremely impactful runs with NXT.  They are two women who will dominate the main roster for years to come.  However, this is something you earn after being on the main roster for a couple of years, not a couple of weeks.

Roxanne Perez remains my wild card here, she was with NXT as one of their biggest names for 4 years and appears to be headed with Fin Balor, out of the Judgement Day.  With that being the case, I don’t see them convoluting the storyline of Perez so early into it on the main roster by giving her the briefcase, but I wouldn’t be the least bit shocked if she does win it.

So, why Naomi then?  Well, again, she has been with the company almost a decade, and they like to reward hard workers with this match, and she is the one no one sees coming.  Every now and then, WWE creative will make a move just like that. To keep everyone guessing.

The Men’s money in the bank ladder match

Prediction – LA Knight

Reason for pick – While the success rate for the woman who wins the MITB casing it in for the belt and capturing it is 100%, the men’s winner success rate of cashing it for gold is closer to 50/50.  That being the case, Knight winning it keeps his lukewarm push going, but doesn’t guarantee anything.

If he doesn’t win, then Seth Rollins is the safest pick as he is likely to get help from his cronies Breakker and Bronson Reed. However, I see CM Punk and Sami Zayn getting involved someway to take Rollins out of the action.

Penta and Chad Gable are both red hot with the crowd and them being in this match sense, but Solo and Andrade getting a spot, kind of makes me scratch my head a bit. Andrade has done absolutely nothing in both of his runs with the company.  I would have personally loved to see Montez Ford in this match but given the fact he is one half of the Tag Champs, it makes sense that he isn’t in it.  Still though, Adrade and Solo, really?
