Reaction – Not much to say here actually, Morgan and Rodriguez are going to jump back and forth between brands while they defend their WWE Womens Tag Team Championship anyway, so this was a wasted pick. Big E wasn’t included in The New Day selection, so I keep holding out hope that he returns one day, fully healthy and goes after the gold again.
In conclusion, the biggest thing to standout is the fact that Asuka didn’t quit the night after WrestleMania and is apparently headed back to Smackdown. I can get behind that and perhaps a rematch with Belair is in the cards?
Final thought on this round, Butch needs to go back to his NXT persona and real name of Peter Dunne.
