WWE Clash Of Champions Preview & Predictions

Drew Gulak vs Humberto Carrillo Lince Dorado

Vince – 3 solid talents no one will see on the preshow match.  Gulak to retain and I just don’t feeling like typing Carrillo any more time then I have too.  Those double letter words trip me up.

Sharp – Gulak retains. I haven’t seen a challenger worthy of beating him yet.

Isley -Drew retains in yet another fun match on a PPV pre-show.

Cruz -I’m actually taking a risk here and going with Lince Dorado. They have been teasing a possible heel turn on 205 Live and it may just be here that it happens.

Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Vince – The WWE has gotten some very nice legs out of this feud several times over the years.  It really does come across as Good vs Evil.

With this being the last PPV before the move to FOX for Smackdown, I expect this to be the night they put the belt on Orton.

Sharp – Kofi retains, Lesnar attacks him after the match.

Isley -Kofi has been the face of the SmackDown move to FOX, so no reason to believe the WWE would take the title from him here.

I expect a Kofi win with him celebrating with his family along the lines of how he did at WrestleMania.

Cruz -Kofi Kingston will retain in controversial fashion, setting up Orton vs. Kofi at Hell in a Cell next month.

Seth Rollins vs Braun Stroman for the Universal Championship

Vince – Bet the house, the farm, the car and your children’s college fund.

This will end in a no contest as the lights go out, and when they come back on, The “Fiend” Bray Wyatt will be standing over both men laying motionless in the ring. BOOK IT!

Sharp – I like Strowman but I just don’t see him as championship material, plus they won’t have Rollins lose. He’s way too over right now. Rollins retains.

Isley -The next big match Braun wins will be his first, so it is hard to pick him until he actually does it. Plus, it is hard to imagine the WWE has Seth beat Brock just to lose the Braun in the next PPV.

Cruz  – I don’t think either of them will win. I think The Fiend will arrive and attack both men, setting up a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match at the next pay-per-view.
