It is hard to believe that Brutus The Barber Beefcake was part of a mat classic, but he sure was on this night! This was the match of the night by far. The Dynamite Kid was at his very best, and so was the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith. A terrific match packed with drama and suspense.
Every person in this match did their part to help, including the managers Johnny Valiant and Captain Lou Albano. If you want to go back and look at this show, this is the one match you need to watch first and enjoy every second. To this point, it remains the greatest “non gimmick” or non-mixed, tag Team Title Match in WrestleMania History.
