by With all the GM talk lately surrounding NXT, it has once again peeked my interest in questioning why there isn’t one in AEW just yet? You would have to think that it is only a matter of time before they introduce a set authority figure. Right now, they have Tony Khan, but every good owner has a GM, and it just makes sense that AEW will introduce one soon.
The question is, will it be one of the several WWE legends already on the roster or a AEW original that no one see’s coming? I truly believe they should stay away from former WWE GM’s such as Vickie Guerrero or even a possible Mick Foley or Teddy Long hiring, as that has all been done to death. At the same token, I would be okay with a debuting Kurt Angle or Eric Bischoff in that role.
