With this week’s retirement of Eli Manning, it has me thinking about the quarterbacks I grew up with in the NFL. Manning is known for spending his entire career with the New York Giants, a trait few QB’s have been able to pull off. In today’s NFL players are constantly moving teams and it is hard to attach to a player at times.
In that spirit, I thought it would be a lot of fun to go back to my childhood and think about the quarterbacks who were the most memorable per team of my generation. Now, before you read this, please keep in mind two things.
1 – This is not the “best” QB of my generation per team, simply the most memorable. There aren’t many ties, but a few along the way.
2 – I was born in 1982 and will base this on my 12 school years of 88-2000. Also, keep in mind there was less teams back then. So, you will not see the Ravens, Titans or Texans on this list. You will see the original Browns and the Houston Oilers. Have fun!
