Shane McMahon Calls Out Roman Reigns
- Shane McMahon opened up Smackdown Live this week, addressing what happened last week with Roman Reigns. Last week, while Vince McMahon revealed Elias as Smackdown’s biggest acquisition ever, Roman Reigns also came out as a new Superstar on the blue brand. He hit a Superman Punch on Vince McMahon, and then claimed that Smackdown is his yard now.
Shane McMahon went on to say that he wonders what man would lay his hands on another man’s father (ironically, Shane attacked Miz’s dad at WrestleMania). Shane likens attacking Vince McMahon to destroying a national monument like Mount Rushmore (or Rount Mushmore as Shane called it). He debated on fining, suspending, or even firing Reigns, but instead to call out Reigns.
Roman came to the ring, with a microphone in hand. He quickly loses the microphone, however, dropping it getting ready to fight Shane. Elias runs out, distracting Roman long enough for Shane to attack Roman. Reigns had a bit of a comeback, but ultimately was beaten down by Elias and Shane with Elias hitting the Drift Away.
Later in the night, Elias challenged Roman Reigns to a match at Money in the Bank through song and immediately leaves. Reigns accepts the match before the night is over.
