Westlake Lady Demons impress at Florida Tourney

The Westlake Lady Demons, the only representative from the state of Ohio, have begun their Holiday tournament in very impressive fashion with a resounding 57-40 win over Arlington Heights (TX). this afternoon in Tampa, Florida.

Westlake have taken their talents to Florida and did not miss a beat. Armed with their signature press defense and stifling zone, they took command early and never looked back.

The Lady Demons were lead by Senior Gina Adams who poured in 18 points, Abby Carrington pitched in with 15 and Emma Hall with 11.

Arlington, which came into the contest with a 14-1 record were led by Kiarra Henderson with 13, and Ty’Tiauna Graham with 11.

Westlake moves on to Round 2 with the win with an opponent to be determined.
